Description
This coat is a combination of the Herjolfnes dress and the look at the cost at a “gullgubber” golden foliar from Slöringe in Sweden. And in Birka there is found a tortoise brooch with a textile inside showing a sewn edge diagonal in the broach. Also, two edges facing vertical is found in a brooch center front, – the third jewelry. That I see all this as a sort of a coat with e very wide neckline, closed in the front with a trefoil brooch.
The coat is quite wide at the lower edge and tight on the bodice.
The cuffs and the front of the coat You can decorate with floss woven “fake fur” which is found in Hedeby.
You can also add lining in the coat.
