Dress with fitted sleeve and godet
In Denmark is a found dated 1000 AD. The Moselund Tunic. The sleeves are fitted, and the seam is placed 11 cm from the side seam on the back bodice. It’s handsewn-thinking. Also, the shoulder is special, sins the back piece is a rectangle and det shape on the shoulder is made at the front part only. The armscye is quite little. There are also well shaped side pieces in this tunic, similar to found in Hedeby. All together this give a very fine fit. And since an advanced design like this develops over very long time, I will say there is no problem using it in Viking reenactment.
